ACOVA Victim Assistance

What is ACOVA?

A Community Organization for Victim Assistance (ACOVA) – ACOVA is the victim assistance unit for the Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office and the Pueblo Police Department.

Since 1991, our specially trained victim advocates are available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to respond to calls for service through all law enforcement agencies, local hospitals, and emergency service providers  to assist victims of crime or circumstance in their time of need.

We assist victims following a crime or incident by providing immediate crisis intervention with victims and families; referral to supportive agencies, victims compensation or the judicial system; and follow-up as needed.
